Upgrade Kit III for XSTART E-Starter, complete E-Start handlebar housing in original design, starter only works in neutral with ignition on

With our upgrade kit, the e-starter from Nuts & Bolts (see item 41851-SR1 or 41851-SR2) is not only more suitable for everyday use, it also creates a great original look, so that the SR with e-starter looks as if it had rolled off the production line back then.

The throttle grip fitting in the original design has an integrated e-start button, a light on/off slide switch and a kill switch. With our upgrade kit, the electric starter only works when the ignition is switched on and no gear is engaged (Neutral position). This is ensured by a small electronics box that disappears under the seat. An additional wiring loom for simple electrical connection is included.

Please order a suitable throttle cable self-assembly set (see item 41863-1 for the original VM34SS/BST-34 carburettor or the popular Mikuni TM36/TM40 or item 41863-2 for the Mikuni VM36 round slide carburettor). Due to its design, the new E-Start fitting only has one normally closed throttle cable.
